Payroll
All plansNSSF, SHIF, AHL and PAYE are calculated on the server, under the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2024. Employment Act section 19 keeps a floor under net pay. You can read every line before the run is approved.
Approvals
Growth+On Growth and Enterprise, the person who prepares a pay run cannot approve it. Payslips and the payroll journal post after that sign-off. Custom roles decide who may prepare, approve or only read.
Ledger
All plansAn approved pay run posts a journal you can reconcile to the statutory totals. Trial balance is on every plan. Profit or loss, financial position and cash flows open on Growth and Enterprise.
AR / AP
All plansQuote, invoice and record the receipt. Enter supplier bills and the payments you make. Each recorded payment is priced on its own. Statements and receipts export as PDF.
Security
A person can open only the organisation they belong to. The fields that pay staff are encrypted in the browser. The security log accepts new lines and nothing else.

Bank account, national ID, phone and KRA PIN are encrypted before they leave the browser.

A log that stays
The security log is append-only. The database rejects updates and deletes.
Why Rely
Starter is KES 2,999 a month. That is the platform fee, not a bureau retainer. Pay annually and two months come off the platform fee. Usage is still billed every month.
Each approved payroll employee is a charge. Each AR/AP payment you record is a charge. A month with no pay run and no payments is the platform fee alone.
Payslips are itemized. Journals are built to balance. The security log keeps each line and the database will not edit or delete it.
